This Payment Policy outlines the terms governing payments, subscriptions, and payouts for users of the HandySam app (“the App”), operated by HandySam (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App’s paid features, subscribing, or participating in payout programs, you agree to this Payment Policy. Please read it carefully.
1. Subscriptions
- Subscription Fees: Certain features of the App require a subscription. Subscription fees are charged based on the plan you select.
- Billing Cycle: Subscription fees are automatically deducted from the payment method provided on the same day of each month that your subscription began (e.g., if you subscribed on the 5th, payment is deducted on the 5th of each subsequent month).
- Payment Authorization: By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your provided payment method. Ensure your payment information is accurate and up to date to avoid service interruptions.
- Non-Refundable: Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of the current billing cycle, and no further charges will be applied.
2. Pro Payouts
- Payout Process: If you are enrolled in the App’s pro program, payouts for eligible earnings are processed via Paystack, our third-party payment processor.
- Processing Time: Payouts are typically processed within 1–2 business days from the initiation date. Delays may occur due to bank processing times or Paystack’s policies, over which we have no control.
- Eligibility: To receive payouts, you must provide accurate payment details and meet any minimum payout thresholds or other requirements specified in the App.
- Fees: Any transaction fees charged by Paystack or your bank are your responsibility, unless otherwise stated.
3. Referral Wallet Payouts
- Payout Schedule: Earnings accumulated in your referral wallet are processed for payout on the last day of each month, provided you meet the minimum payout threshold (if applicable).
- Processing Time: Referral payouts are typically reflected in your designated account within 1–2 business days after processing. Delays may occur due to bank or payment processor timelines.
- Payment Method: Payouts are made to the account or payment method you specify in the App. Ensure your details are correct to avoid delays or failed payments.
- Forfeiture: Unclaimed referral earnings may be forfeited if not requested within a reasonable timeframe, as specified in the App or required by law.
4. Payment Methods
- You must provide a valid payment method (e.g., credit/debit card, mobile payment, or other accepted methods) to access paid features or receive payouts.
- We are not responsible for issues arising from incorrect or outdated payment information.
5. Taxes
- You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your subscription fees or payouts, including income tax or value-added tax (VAT), as required by law.
- We may collect and remit taxes where obligated to do so, and such taxes will be included in the fees charged.
6. Payment Disputes
- If you believe there is an error in billing or payouts, contact us within 30 days at [Your Email Address]. We will investigate and respond promptly.
- For issues with Paystack payouts, you may need to contact Paystack directly, and we will assist where possible.
7. Changes to Fees or Payment Terms

- Continued use of the App’s paid features or participation in payout programs after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Compliance with Laws
All payments and payouts are processed in accordance with applicable laws, including South Africa’s financial regulations and the policies of our payment processor, Paystack. You agree to comply with all relevant laws when using the App’s payment features.
